Admission Procedure

Presently, the Delhi Public School Dibrugarh offers admission for Playgroup – Class IX and XI. We follow a smooth registration process and the details are as below.

Application forms are to be filled in and submitted to the Administrative Office.

One form is applicable for one student only

Registration fees once paid, are non-refundable at this time, the following documents are to submitted Administrative Office.

The registration form, duly filled and signed

2 passport size colour photographs of the child

Proof of date of birth (issued by the Municipal Corporation or any authorised competent authority)

Photocopy of Adhaar card of the child and parents

The transport form (if school transport needs to be availed)

Photocopy of the current year’s report card and those of the last two years’ final exams

Incomplete registration forms will be rejected

ADMISSION PROCEDURE IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL DOMAIN

Students scoring above 90% in their previous class are eligible for direct admission.Those scoring below 90% are required to appear for an admission test assessing their knowledge in English, Mathematics and Science. Admission will be granted based on satisfactory performance in the test.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE fOR CLASSES IX to XII

The admission process for Classes IX to XII is designed to ensure that students meet the academic standards and are well-prepared for the curriculum. For admission to Classes IX and X, candidates are required to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the school. Selection will be based on performance in the entrance test as well as the marks obtained in the previous year’s final examination. Submission of the previous year’s marksheet is mandatory at the time of application. For students seeking admission to Class X, it is essential to provide the Registration Certificate issued by the previous school. This document is required for completing the formalities related to the List of Candidates (LOC) submission to the board. Admission to Class XI is granted based on academic performance in Class X board examinations. Students opting for the Science stream must have secured a minimum of 75% marks. For the Commerce stream, a minimum of 65% is required, while for the Humanities stream, at least 60% marks must be obtained. Admission to Class XII is generally not open for fresh applicants. However, direct admission may be considered in genuine transfer cases, subject to availability of seats and a consistently good academic record. All admissions are subject to verification of documents and fulfillment of school norms.
